Classic Butterscotch Sauce

1/3 cup (80 ml) butter
1 cup (250 ml) packed brown sugar
2/3 cup (160 ml) whipping cream 35 %
2 tbsp (30 ml) corn syrup


In medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in sugar, cream and corn syrup.
Bring mixture to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Serve warm or cool over ice cream.
